1. June — Family Picnic at Canoe Creek State Park, Pavilion #2

Thursday, June 13th, 2019; 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM 

Directions:  travel on US 22 to the small village of Canoe Creek (seven miles east of Hollidaysburg), turn north on the Turkey Valley Road for 1/2 mile to Canoe Creek State Park.

Address is 205 Canoe Creek Road, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648

2:30 PM:  Activity with Heidi, Environmental Education Specialist

3:30 PM:  Mountain Pie Snacks

5:45 PM or 6:15PM:  Covered Dish Dinner

Bring a covered dish & we will provide place settings, drinks and hot dogs, etc.

Planned activities all day within the park along with bikes to ride

2. July — Family Picnic at Trough Creek State Park, Pavilion #5

Thursday, July 11th, 2019; 1:00 PM to 7:30 PM

Directions: off PA 26 at Entriken, turn on to 994, 5.2 miles turn left on Little Valley Road

Address is 16362 Little Valley Road, James Creek, PA 16657       Phone:  658-3847

2:30 PM:  Activity with Heidi, Environmental Education Specialist,

3:30 PM:   Mountain pies for snack

5:45 PM or 6:15 PM:  covered dish dinner

Bring a covered dish & we will provide place settings, drinks and hot dogs, etc.

3. August —  Big Brothers Big Sisters Annual Day at the Altoona Curve

Sunday, August 11th, 2018; Gates Open at 5:00 PM

5:00 PM:  Gates open and kids can play catch in the field

6:00 PM:  Game starts with kids running the bases and fireworks after the game!!

A limited number of t-shirts (first come first serve) will be printed for the occasion.

Tickets are $4.00 The Agency will cover the ticket cost for Littles & High School Bigs.
